Maintenance after launch: grease, dust and salt handled on schedule
After launch we take the systems on service maintenance. Kitchen filters, ducts, air conditioning, pumps and boards are checked on a plan set at commissioning, so small faults are caught before a Friday night.
- Schedule set from the design and the cooking volume
- Hood filters, ducts and fans cleaned and checked
- Air conditioning, fresh air and ERV filters serviced
- Electrical boards and loads checked

What happens without a schedule
Grease builds up in hood filters and ducts until airflow drops and the fire risk grows. AC filters clog, coils foul and the units run longer for less cooling. Salt air near the coast attacks fans and outdoor units. Nobody notices until something fails during service, and emergency repairs always cost more than planned ones.
What a plan covers
| System | Typical tasks |
|---|---|
| Kitchen exhaust | Filter cleaning, hood and duct inspection and cleaning, fan belts and bearings |
| Air conditioning and fresh air | Filters, coils, condensate drains, refrigerant checks |
| Heat-recovery units | Filters and exchanger inspection |
| Water and drainage | Grease trap schedule, pumps, treatment cartridges |
| Electrical | Board inspection, connections, load checks |
Frequencies are set per venue: a charcoal grill kitchen needs far more frequent exhaust cleaning than a café.
For kitchen exhaust we follow the approach of NFPA 96, the widely used US standard for commercial cooking ventilation, where the inspection frequency depends on the type and volume of cooking. The schedule is in our note on exhaust cleaning.
We start with an inspection, then propose a schedule and a monthly fee for your systems.
Systems we did not install
We can maintain them too, after an initial audit to know what is there and in what condition.
Questions owners ask us
How often should kitchen exhaust be cleaned?
It depends on the cooking: solid fuel and high-volume grills need it far more often than light cooking. See the cleaning schedule.
Do you service air conditioning only?
We maintain the venue's MEP systems as a whole; for a single home AC unit a household service is a better fit.
What does maintenance cost?
It depends on the systems and visits; see indicative prices.
Can you maintain systems installed by others?
Yes, after an initial audit.

A new restaurant, a kitchen that smokes, a hotel that needs air conditioning, a villa complex at design stage: a few lines are enough to start.
